An Invitation to Discomfort

We are creatures of comfort. Left to our own devices, we avoid as much discomfort as we can. Lent is a season where we invite discomfort into our lives for the purpose of repentance and spiritual formation. We will lean into the spiritual disciplines of fasting, praying, and giving. As we do, the Book of Psalms will be our guide. Each Sunday, a psalm will provide a way for us to maintain contact with God on our journey through the wilderness of Lent. Join us on the Sundays of Lent!

My Favorite Things
Saturday March 29 | 10am

You start by choosing one of your favorite things, something that you LOVE and want to share. Perhaps a favorite hand lotion, a favorite baked good, or a gift card to your favorite drink place. Your item should cost $5 or less and can be homemade or store-bought.

Please bring three of the same item, unwrapped. At this fellowship meeting in The Commons, you will share why you LOVE your item, then they will be gifted to three different ladies. At the end of the morning we will all know and LOVE each other a little better and you will go home with three sweet gifts!  Invite a friend to join in on the fun!
