CEREPA is an outreach program of the Honduras Mission PREDISAN. RECC began their support of this medical mission in 1997. CEREPA is an acronym for El Centro de Rehabilitation del Paciente Alcoholico (The Center for the Rehabilitation of Alcoholic Patients). It is located in the city of Catacamas, Olancho, in western Honduras and has a staff of over 70 Honduran professionals and support staff who carry out the daily work of PREDISAN.
In addition to CEREPA, the other outreach programs of PREDISAN include a medical clinic, five rural health centers, and community development. They are also involved in various spiritual ministries in the area including devotionals, Bible studies, personal evangelism and active participation within the local church body.
