  • Preaching Minister

    Drew Gaylor is our Preaching Minister, and he began serving with RE in August of 2013. Drew loves preaching and teaching, working with people, and paying attention to the movement of the Spirit in his life and the life of RE. He is married to Jennifer, and they have two wonderful children: Tyler and Loralai. He has a B.A. in Bible from ACU (2000), a M.Div. from Brite Divinity School (2003), and a D.Min. from ACU (2011). Drew has served with churches in Indianapolis, IN (Westlake Church of Christ) and Lawrenceville, GA (Gwinnett Church of Christ). He enjoys spending time with his family, sports, movies, books, and Tex-Mex. Drew is grateful to serve with the RE church family in extending the love and care we have received from God to all others.

  • Executive Minister

    Mike Sparks is married to Judi (3/21/1981) and has three adult children and three grand-children. He has served in full time ministry since 1983. Mike received a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Literature from Southeastern Biblical Institute in 1983 and completed the National Institute of Church Finance and Administration at Chandler Theological Seminary (Emory University) in 2012. Mike finds his fulfillment as a minister in congregational organization, teaching, and equipping others in finding their place of passion in service to God. In addition to his ministry interest, Mike enjoys backpacking, SCUBA diving/instructing, and other outdoor activities. 

  • Worship & Family Minister

    Dan Stevens is our Worship & Family Minister and has been on staff since 1996 when he began working with our Youth Ministry. In 2001 he transitioned from Youth Ministry into an Associate Ministry position. His primary responsibilities include Worship, Pastoral Care and Family Ministry. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a degree in Christian Ministry and a Masters Degree in Biblical & Related Studies. He is married to Kelli, and they have 3 precious children, Mackenzie, Jackson and Jenna.

  • Student Minister

    Jaron Brandt joined our staff as our Student Minister in June 2016. He has a degree in Biblical Studies from Oklahoma Christian University, where he met his wife Michaela. Jaron has worked previously as a college ministry intern at the Edmond Church of Christ and a youth ministry intern at the Legacy Church of Christ. A self-proclaimed “jack-of-all-trades,” Jaron enjoys finding new ways to connect with others through interests and activities. Jaron and Michaela were excited to have joined the family at Richardson East as they began their life together as a married couple.

  • Children's Minister

    Meredith McDaniel joined our staff as a Children’s Minister in 2016 after being a long time member. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and Educational Master in Reading, both from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. Before working at Richardson East, she worked in local public schools teaching Kindergarten and Fourth Grade. She lives in Richardson with her husband, Jackson and son, Jay. In addition to working with kids, Meredith enjoys baking, hosting guests, and DIYing around the house. 

  • Children's Minister

    Emily joined our staff in the summer of 2016 after being a member and regular volunteer in Children’s Ministry for 10 years at Richardson East. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Abilene Christian University. Before joining our staff, she taught 2nd grade in Richardson ISD. Her interest in children’s ministry began as a young adult, serving as a summer children’s ministry intern for 3 summers during her college years. She is married to Jordan, a life-long member at RE, and they have two children, Caroline and Henry. Emily enjoys traveling, cooking, and is a lover of children’s books!

  • Ministry Assistant

    Laura Snyder joined our staff as our Ministry Assistant in March of 2013 after eleven years in the legal profession. She has been a member of Richardson East since 2008. Originally from Arlington, Laura graduated from Southeastern Community College in Keokuk, Iowa in 2002 and later The University of Texas at Arlington where she obtained her paralegal degree in 2005. She and her husband, Evan, a life-long member of Richardson East, live in Allen and have a son - Cole and a daughter - Gretchen. She enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

  • CARE Child Development Center Director

    Tresia Eason has been with our child development center since 1987. She has a Bachelors of Arts from Harding University. In addition to directing the school, she trains adult teachers in the field of child development. She also has been teaching the 3rd and 4th grade girls at the Richardson East Church for the last 28 years. Tresia has been married to her husband, Edd, for over 40 years.

  • CARE Child Development Center Assistant Director

    Danielle Otenti has been with our Child Development Center since 2008.  She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas.  She loves working with children and previously taught Kindergarten for eight years.  Danielle has been a member of Richardson East since her early youth.  She and her husband Bobby have three children.  

  • CARE Corps Director

    Laurie Moore has led our benevolence ministry of food, financial and spiritual assistance since September 2016. She has served a variety of D-FW businesses and non-profit organizations with market research, strategic planning, and marketing communications. She is a Dallas Baptist University alumni with an M.B.A. in International Business and a Texas Tech University Red Raider with a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations. She enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities as well as sharing new adventures with her husband and children. She thinks the best part about CARE Corps is seeing how God supports this ministry every day through the people who participate – our gracious volunteers, donors, and clients.
